Angie is Elementor's AI agent plugin for WordPress. It installs free from WordPress.org and works on any WordPress site, with or without the Elementor editor, though you have to sign in with an Elementor account. On pricing, Angie currently has only a free plan with AI credits that renew every day, and the vendor site says you can't buy extra Angie credits for now. Many people who search for "Angie pricing" end up looking at Elementor One, Elementor's paid plan with AI, which costs US$180 for the first year and US$228 a year on renewal. The biggest difference from Roamer AI is where it sits: Angie is an AI plugin installed on your site that you operate yourself, while Roamer AI is the AI assistant inside RoamerHost's managed hosting, looking after the hosting and the site together.

Below we cover what Angie can do, how its pricing works, what we found when we paid to test it, and how it differs from Roamer AI, followed by a recommendation.

Features and prices come from Elementor's site and the WordPress.org plugin page, checked in October 2026. Elementor's prices are in USD before tax. Where the official pages don't say something, we say so rather than guess.

What Angie can do

Elementor pitches Angie as "agentic AI for all WordPress sites." You open it in the WordPress dashboard and describe what you want in chat. It can build a full page layout and set up a color and font system along the way; write custom Elementor widgets or add new controls to existing ones; and write code snippets such as admin tools, front-end CSS and JavaScript effects, and custom post types and fields. Elementor's examples also include front-end tools like quizzes, calculators, custom 404 pages and store locators. You can describe what you want in text or give it a screenshot or URL as a reference.

With Super Admin Mode on, its access extends to the site's files, database and PHP. It can then update product prices, user roles and custom fields in bulk; read the debug log to trace failed emails, PHP conflicts and API connection problems; deactivate a conflicting plugin or change a hook; and fill in missing meta descriptions, create redirect rules and standardize URL slugs. Widgets and snippets you build can be saved to the Cloud Library and reused on other sites. Listed integrations include Elementor, WooCommerce, Gutenberg, ACF, LearnDash and The Events Calendar.

On safety, it reads your data and lays out a plan for you to approve before acting. Angie Code writes code in a sandbox fully isolated from your live site, and nothing goes live until you've previewed it and are happy. Permissions follow WordPress's built-in user roles. Elementor also warns that Angie can make mistakes and you should check its results, and the WordPress.org page recommends backing up your site before using it.

On WordPress.org, Angie is active on more than 100,000 sites and requires WordPress 6.9 or later. When we checked, it was at version 1.1.19 (updated October 6) with a 3.2-star rating from 19 reviews; most negative reviews mention credits running out quickly and sessions ending in the middle of troubleshooting. The plugin interface is translated into nine languages, including Japanese and German, but not Traditional Chinese. Elementor says it answers in whatever language you prompt it in.

How Angie pricing works

Start with Angie itself. The plugin is free, and the free plan has AI credits that renew daily. Elementor doesn't say how many credits you get per day, and its FAQ says you can't buy additional Angie credits "during this time." In other words, the vendor site currently lists no standalone paid price for Angie.

Elementor's paid plans come in two kinds. The first is Editor Pro, what most people call Elementor Pro: from US$60 for the first year with Essential, then Advanced Solo at US$84, Advanced at US$108 (3 sites) and Expert at US$204 (25 sites). None of these include AI credits. The second is Elementor One, which includes AI. The One plan is US$180 for the first year and US$228 a year on renewal, for 1 site with 25,000 credits a month, and it includes Editor Pro plus AI generation of code, copy, images and layouts. One Agency is US$432 for the first year and US$540 a year on renewal, with unlimited sites and 350,000 credits a month. Annual plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

One credits form a shared pool. An AI action costs 1 to 40 credits depending on complexity, image optimization 10 credits per image, email delivery 10 credits per email, and an accessibility fix 20 credits. The pool resets monthly and unused credits don't roll over. Elementor One's marketing copy mentions Angie, but the page doesn't say whether Angie draws on One credits once the free credits run out, or how, so we won't guess. Elementor's FAQ is clear on one point, though: Elementor One does not include hosting. Your site has to run on a WordPress host you find yourself.

So the real cost of using Angie is "Angie free plan plus your hosting bill," with Elementor One's yearly fee added if you need heavier use or Elementor's AI generation. The table below puts the combinations side by side.

What we found when we paid to test it

In September 2026 we bought a paid Elementor plan, installed Angie on a test site and built several pages with it. Single sections, widgets and small tools came together quickly, and previewing code snippets in the sandbox before they go live is reassuring. Anyone comfortable with Elementor will pick it up easily.

Full pages and whole sites were harder. When we asked it to build a complete home page from scratch and then match that style on other pages, each section looked fine on its own, but together they didn't quite match, and we had to spend time adjusting font sizes, spacing and colors. That makes sense: Angie's strength is building components inside Elementor, and the design direction for the whole site is still yours to set. This was our own test, and a different site or different prompts may give different results. We'd suggest trying a page of your own site on the free plan.

How Angie and Roamer AI differ

The first difference is who does the work. Angie lives in the WordPress dashboard and suits people who already know WordPress and Elementor and want to move faster; you still decide when to call it and where its output goes. Roamer AI lives in your RoamerHost member area. Open the chat and say, in plain language, "swap the promo image on the home page for this one and change the headline to our Singles' Day sale," and it finds the page, makes the change and shows you a screenshot. You don't need to know where anything is in the dashboard.

The second is design scope. Angie builds Elementor widgets and pages. Since October 2026, Roamer AI designs freely: it listens to how you want the site to feel, then sets the layout, colors and visual motifs for the whole site, and new pages follow the same design. Qingyu Tea in our demo went from a blank site to ready-to-sell in 15 messages.

The third is what happens when something breaks. Angie is a plugin, so when the site shows a white screen or the dashboard won't load, it goes down too. Roamer AI works from the hosting level: it can read the error log, move the broken plugin out of the way and bring the site back. It also takes a snapshot before every change, rolls back when you say "undo," and needs your confirmation code before actions like deactivating plugins or bulk updates.

The fourth is hosting and payment. Neither Angie nor Elementor One includes hosting, prices are in USD, and you rent hosting separately. WP × Roamer AI Pro is avg. NT$999/mo (billed yearly) for hosting, the site and AI in one payment, billed in New Taiwan dollars, with company invoices available and support from a team in Taiwan.

You can also use both. Sites on RoamerHost are standard WordPress, so you can install Elementor and Angie, and Roamer AI can read and edit Elementor layouts on sites we host. That said, if you never wanted to adjust things cell by cell in an editor in the first place, you can simply hand the work to Roamer AI and skip learning another tool.

When Angie is the better fit

If you want to stay with your current host, your site is already built with Elementor, and you just want an extra pair of hands for routine work, Angie is the smoothest choice: install the plugin and go, no migration, and the free credits are usually enough for a few widgets and snippets. Freelance designers and agencies managing many sites can carry finished widgets to the next site through the Cloud Library, and Elementor One Agency has no site limit, which RoamerHost's one-site-per-plan setup can't match.

On the other hand, if you're not familiar with the WordPress dashboard, or someone else built your site and you can't reach them now, Angie can only help so much. It does what you tell it, but deciding what to do, where to do it and whether the result fits the style is still up to you, and hosting, backups and rescue when something breaks are still on you or your host. In that situation it's easier to have one place look after the hosting, the site and the AI. If nobody is maintaining your site, see what to do when the person who built your site is gone.

How to choose

If you already have a WordPress site and want someone to make changes for you instead of learning a plugin yourself, choose WP × Roamer AI Pro. If your site is built with Elementor, you're comfortable laying out pages, and you just want to produce pages, widgets and copy faster inside Elementor, Angie's free plan is enough; look at Elementor One if you need more. If you want to keep your current host and your current editor, install Angie, build one page, and then decide whether to move.

FAQ

Q: Does Angie cost money?

The plugin is free, and the free plan has AI credits that renew daily; you can't buy more for now. Elementor's paid plan with AI is Elementor One, at US$180 for the first year and US$228 a year on renewal. The vendor site doesn't say how Angie is billed once you go past the free credits.

Q: Does Angie require Elementor?

Not necessarily. Elementor says it installs on any WordPress site and you can start without the Elementor editor, but you need an Elementor account to sign in. Its strength is building Elementor pages and widgets, so on block-editor sites there's less for it to do.

Q: Are Angie and Elementor AI the same thing?

Not quite. Elementor AI is the generation feature inside the editor for copy, images, code and layouts, and it uses Elementor One credits. Angie is a separate agent plugin that works across pages and, with Super Admin Mode on, can also edit data in bulk and debug from the logs.

Q: Can I prompt Angie in Chinese?

Yes. Elementor says it replies in the language you prompt it in. The plugin interface has no Traditional Chinese translation yet, so buttons and settings screens appear in English or another language.

Q: I already use Angie. Do I still need Roamer AI?

It depends on what you want. If you can work Elementor and just want to build pages faster, Angie is enough. If you want to describe what you need in plain language and have the whole site built, have someone rescue it from the hosting level when it breaks, and be able to undo any change, WP × Roamer AI Pro is the better fit.
