Hostinger's AI site building is really three products: Hostinger AI Builder for its own website editor (not WordPress), an AI setup wizard that comes with its WordPress hosting, and Hostinger Agent, which can work in your dashboard from a chat. Its strengths are a low entry price and plans that hold many sites. The trade-offs are paying 48 months up front in USD, renewal prices more than four times the introductory rate, and no information we could find on paying in New Taiwan dollars or getting a Taiwanese uniform invoice. WordPress hosting plus Roamer AI takes a different route: yearly billing in New Taiwan dollars, one site per plan, and an AI that doesn't stop at the first version but goes into the site for later edits and upkeep too. For users in Taiwan, the differences come down to three things: how you pay, who edits the site, and who you turn to when something breaks.
Below we lay out what each of Hostinger's three AI tools actually covers, what they cost and what we found in our own testing, compare them with WP × Roamer AI, and explain who each suits.
Features and prices come from Hostinger's US site and help center, checked in October 2026. Hostinger was already running a year-end promotion when we checked, so prices will change. Overseas prices are in USD before tax, and where Hostinger doesn't say something, we don't guess.
What each of Hostinger's three AI tools does
The first is Hostinger AI Builder, Hostinger's own website editor, which is not WordPress. It has two modes. Manual drag-and-drop mode uses no AI credits. Agentic mode, where you build by chatting, uses credits for each action: Hostinger says a simple business page takes about 5 to 10 credits and a more complex web app 15 or more on average, while editing text and images directly in the editor is free. It can build brand sites, booking sites, membership sites, online stores and even web apps such as a CRM, and projects built in agentic mode can be exported as full source code. One thing to watch closely: if your plan expires without renewal, the project becomes inaccessible and its data is permanently deleted.
The second is the AI builder in WordPress hosting. When setting up a site you choose "Create a website with AI," enter a brand name and a short description, and it generates a layout with content and images, then takes you to the WordPress block editor to keep editing. The result is ordinary WordPress: you can install plugins, change themes and move to another host later, though you lose access to Hostinger's AI tools once you leave. The product page says every plan includes it, while the FAQ says it's included with Business and cloud plans. The two don't quite agree, so ask before you buy.
The third is Hostinger Agent, an AI assistant you can call up in the Hostinger dashboard and in WordPress admin. Hostinger says that on Business and cloud plans it can, right from the chat, install plugins from WordPress.org, activate, deactivate and update plugins, install, switch and update themes, create and edit WooCommerce coupons, find posts, pages, products and comments, and edit posts, pages and site settings. For irreversible actions such as deleting something or making a purchase, it shows a confirmation card and waits for you. Agent can also be subscribed to on its own at US$9.99 a month billed monthly or an average of US$6.99 a month billed yearly, with 1,000 credits a month. Support questions are free; business requests are charged by complexity, and credits are shared with AI Builder. The WordPress hosting page says it's included at no extra cost with Business and cloud hosting.
Prices and commitment
When we checked, Hostinger's WordPress Premium plan was US$2.49 a month, but paid as 48 months up front, US$119.52 in total, renewing at US$10.99 a month, for up to 3 sites. Unlimited was US$3.49 a month (US$167.52 for 48 months), renewing at US$16.99 a month; Cloud Startup was US$7.99 a month (US$383.52 for 48 months), renewing at US$25.99 a month. Both of those allow unlimited sites. The three plans come with one-time AI credits of 250, 500 and 1,000, doubled during the promotion. There's a 30-day money-back guarantee, and for AI Builder it applies only if you've used fewer than 30 credits.
The introductory price looks great, but the full picture has to include renewal. Take Premium: after the 48 months, the monthly renewal price is more than four times the intro rate, which at US$10.99 a month comes to about US$131.88 a year from year five. If you only want to try things for a year, paying 48 months up front is a sizable prepayment, and if you stop using it partway through, you're outside the money-back window after 30 days. When comparing, work out both the four-year total and the yearly cost from year five, then set them next to other plans' yearly fees.
Check how AI usage is counted, too. The AI credits that come with hosting plans are one-time, and you buy more when they run out; a standalone Hostinger Agent subscription gets 1,000 credits a month that refill automatically. WP × Roamer AI Pro instead includes a Roamer AI usage allowance that refreshes every day. Running out never costs extra, the site keeps running, and you can pick up again the next day.
What matters to users in Taiwan
The first is payment and bookkeeping. Hostinger prices in USD, so your credit card adds a foreign transaction fee, and we couldn't find any information on paying in New Taiwan dollars or getting a Taiwanese uniform invoice; if your company needs invoices for its books, check with your accountant. The second is language and support. Hostinger's help center says its support team offers English in every region, other languages depend on which Hostinger brand site you bought from, and questions in other languages are handled with automatic translation. The dashboard has a Chinese interface, though Hostinger doesn't say whether it's Simplified or Traditional, and Hostinger Agent can reply in almost any language.
The third is who edits the site. Hostinger's AI is good at producing a first version, and Agent can take over routine dashboard work. But when we tested Hostinger Agent in September 2026, what it could change directly on the site was limited; asking it to rework the home page layout or bring the whole site's design into line didn't get far, and most of that still meant going into the editor ourselves. Upkeep such as plugins, themes and coupons, which is what Hostinger lists, is where it's strongest. This was our own test, and results vary by plan and site.
The fourth is who you turn to when something breaks. When a site shows a white screen, breaks its layout after an update or stops receiving form messages, on Hostinger you usually work out what's wrong first, then explain it to support in English, or ask Agent to try deactivating plugins. If the site is hosted on RoamerHost, you just tell Roamer AI what's happening. It reads the error log, finds the cause and brings the site back, and if it truly can't fix something, it writes up what it found and hands it to a human engineer, so you don't have to describe the technical details yourself.
How WP × Roamer AI works
WP × Roamer AI is RoamerHost's (Roamer Tech's) fully managed WordPress plan, bundling hosting, WordPress and Roamer AI. Tell Roamer AI in a few sentences what you want, for example "build a site for a guesthouse in Tainan with room types, directions and a booking form," and it lists a plan, goes into the site once you approve, designs everything from layout and colors to header and footer, and screenshots desktop and mobile when it's done to check the result. After launch, swapping a promo image, adding new products, updating plugins, fixing a form that won't send or rescuing a white-screened site are all things you simply ask it to do. It takes a snapshot before every change, rolls back when you say "undo," and needs your confirmation code for actions such as deactivating plugins or bulk updates. For real results, see the full Roamer AI demo and the member showcase.
Pricing is yearly in New Taiwan dollars, with no introductory promo rate; renewal follows the plan price at the time. WP × Roamer AI Pro is avg. NT$999/mo (billed yearly) and includes a Roamer AI usage allowance that refreshes every day, and running out never costs extra. If you only want the site and plan to do the work yourself, WordPress Basic is avg. NT$299/mo (billed yearly) with 3 Roamer AI conversations a month. There's no early termination fee, you can cancel renewal at any time, company invoices are available, and support comes from a team in Taiwan. The site is standard WordPress, and you can export the whole thing if you ever want to leave.

When Hostinger is the better deal
If you need many sites, Hostinger's Unlimited plan has no site limit, which works out well for freelancers or anyone running several small sites; RoamerHost gives each site its own isolated container, so every site needs its own plan. If budget comes first and you're fine paying 48 months in USD up front, Hostinger's introductory monthly price is something we can't match. If you want to build a web app or membership system and don't need WordPress, AI Builder's agentic mode is worth a look. And if you already know your way around WordPress and only want AI to help manage plugins and themes, Hostinger Agent is enough.
How to choose
If you're in Taiwan, want to pay in New Taiwan dollars, need company invoices, and want to describe what you need in plain language and have someone build the site and look after it after launch, choose WP × Roamer AI Pro. If you want the lowest price, can pay 48 months in USD up front, need several sites and can run WordPress yourself, choose Hostinger's Premium or Unlimited plan. If you're building a web app and don't care whether it's WordPress, look at Hostinger AI Builder's agentic mode, but remember that the data is deleted when the plan expires.

FAQ
Q: Is a site built with Hostinger's AI a WordPress site?
It depends which tool you use. Hostinger AI Builder is Hostinger's own editor, not WordPress, and projects built in agentic mode can be exported as source code. The AI builder inside WordPress hosting is the one that produces WordPress, edited in the block editor and movable to another host.
Q: Is Hostinger really US$2.49 a month?
That's the introductory price, and it requires paying 48 months up front (US$119.52), after which it renews at US$10.99 a month. It's the promotional price we saw in October; the checkout page has the final word.
Q: Can Hostinger Agent redesign my site?
The capabilities Hostinger lists center on plugins, themes, WooCommerce coupons, post and page content, and site settings. In our test it couldn't do much with layout changes or site-wide design. On sites hosted by RoamerHost, Roamer AI can design layouts, colors, headers and footers directly and checks the result with screenshots.
Q: My site is on Hostinger. Can I move it to RoamerHost?
Yes. A WordPress site can be moved over in full, and WP × Roamer AI Pro includes migration help; see six things you'll run into moving from shared hosting for what to watch before and after. A site built with AI Builder isn't WordPress and would need to be rebuilt.
